The central woodcut in the title-page depicts the printing workshop of Badius (Prelum Ascensianum) with the monogram IVAB (Iodocus Van Assche Badius). Entirely rubricated in red and blue. Beautiful white-on-black cribl? initials, Renaissance style. Old marginal annotations (also on first title page). Upper margin of first title page cut a little too short. Lacking f. 30 of part 2.
Later full calf binding, red edges, first hinge skillfully repaired, second hinge weak
