This curious work by a Catholic turned Anglican clergyman contains much information about Mexico. Gage spent twelve years in Central America : Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Panama. The work was translated in French, Dutch, and German, but its purpose was to urge the English to seize the Spanish territories in the New World.
