Contemporary pigskin binding, with blind tooling, blue edges. With allegorical representations of Faith, Hope and Love. On upper board with the motto: "Im petrat alma Fides Christo quam dante dalutem expectare sorror spes animosa solet". On lower board: "Que vocor insigni caritu de nomine virius omnia que pietas suadet obire si"
Note:Ref. Voet II, 1034, I-II- III - IV- V. Edition of the Digesta or Pandectae, by the French lawyers Ludovicus Russardus (Roussart) and Franciscus Duarenus. the work was started by Duarenus and after his death continued and finished by Russardus. Reprint of the edition published in Lyons by Guillaume Rouillé in 1561.
