Description:In-fį, [8], XLIII, 987 pp, text in two columns (Latin and Greek). Colophon: typis Chr. Fleisheri. Title printed in red and black, woodcut printer's device (Pegasus). Foxing. Bound in full contemporary calf with a large gilt supra libros with the arms of the city of Leiden on both covers. "the block displays a wealth of symbols. The Leiden arms occur in a laurel wreath, Pallas Athena is seated above, with helmet, lance and shield, while putti on either side are holding up an open book in front of her. Below this and next to the arms stand the figures of Fama and Justitia". Some scratches, mostly on lower board, corners sl. bumped, spine with 6 raised edges
