Text in Greek, but foreword in Latin (Franciscus Asulanus lectori S.D.). Franciscus Asulanus' real name was Francesco Torresano. Renouard 105.4 - Adams D 443 Bound with: (same author) Homeri interpres cum indice locupletissimo. Argentorati (Strasbourg), per Vuendelinum Rihelium, mense Septembri anno 1539. [6] ll, 563 pp. Lacks leaves a6 - a7 in the index, but completed in old handwriting. Ink stains with text loss in the first quire also damaged some paper.
